Chrysin, or 5, 7-dihydroxyflavone, is a naturally occurring flavone found in a number of trees and plants including Pinus aristata, Prunus domestica and Passiflora coerulea. This potent extract has been patented for use in Europe and functions as a potent anti-aromatose. Chrysin X works best when used in conjunction with androstenedione and DHEA.
Indians used it as a diuretic, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory. The Chinese used it for a variety of liver, kidney, and cardiovascular diseases. The people of Bulgaria used Tribulus terrestris as a sex enhancer and to treat infertility. Recently, eastern European athletes and strength champions have used it as well.
